It's so damn fine image...
The color and lighting are the best... Are these color pencils and water colors?.... Oh my... oh my... I'm astonished... my only complaint would be the right arm, but everything else... Oh...
Congrats for this masterpiece.

Yep, it's coloured pencils, water-colours and markers.
It's possibly the fingers that make the right arm look a bit weird, I know. I'm glad you like it despite this flaw!

Yeah... I watched it mhhmm... I must have watched it for the first time at six years old... no joke, yes, I know, but it didn't scare me or anything, actually movies like that, the Robocop movies, The fly, the fly 2, Del Toro's Cronos, Barry Levinson's "Toys", Terminator, Stephen King's "IT" and a lot others were what first engaged me into doing art.
The first movie that ever left me a bit scared was "La comunidad", (The community) from Alex de la Iglesia.
At finishing watching that movie I could just think: Ew that was like... damn...
It shows a highly cartoony, yet, not precisely impossible darks turns of human behaviour, particularily greed and its consequences, and actually it quite ressembles real interaction in rotten groups of people; the narrative is achived without too much freudian clichés, except from some geeky guy and an old grumpy rancorous lady, and that is outstanding since that movie could have very easily relied on that.
And the movie goes totally from the perspective of the heroine, One really gets to understand her, and that makes you feel scared as she would be from the other people's attacks. Although she's not precisely a saint herself, but she's not in the same league of depravation as the other people that haunt her.
